A Western Perspective
Lori Jones
This exhibition is sponsored in part by sponsorships from: Legacy Bank, Ninnescah Rural Electric Cooperative, and Stull, Beverlin, Nicolay & Hass, LLC.
About the Artist:
Lori Jones has a natural ability and talent to produce fine, realistic and eloquent pencil drawings; often reflecting the subjects in her everyday life, as she and her husband own the Lazy J Ranch west of Medicine Lodge, KS. She is best known for her work in both pencil and watercolors, and has most recently learned the art of engraving firearms, adorning them with beautifully elaborate, decorative designs. Her exhibition at the Filley will feature a few of these new engravings amongst a collection of her two-dimensional artwork.
